It’s Time Again for Patrick’s Bay Area Market Report:
It seems that buyers have acclimated to higher rates. We certainly have seen that happening with our listings in Marin, where multiple offers and short timeframes for days-on-market are still prevalent. As we are in the middle of our busiest selling season (February - June in Marin), it will be interesting to see where average and median home values land later on this year.
From Freddie Mac:
On average, more than one-third of home sales for the entire year occur between March and June. With two months left of this historically busy period, potential homebuyers will likely not see relief from rising rates anytime soon. However, many seem to have acclimated to these higher rates, as demonstrated by the recently released pending home sales data coming in at the highest level in a year." FHLMC, 5/2/24
Celebrating Mothers Lunch!
Epiphany Center
We have supported the Epiphany Center for many years and this year I had the pleasure and honor of co-chairing the annual Epiphany Center’s Celebrating Mother’s Luncheon. Epiphany Center’s mission is to help San Francisco’s most marginalized women and their families. It is an impressive organization and has earned a place on Newsweek’s List of “America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers” - 2021, 2022, 2023At this year's lunch we raised over $50,000 for Epiphany Center!
